The Clock in Windows 1.0

Since the advent of personal computing, code offered novel opportunities to tell time. Suddenly, clocks were ticking, not mechanically, but at the speed of shared information.

For this exercise, I'd like us to experiment with the future of coding as we tick into the future. Using Cursor, I'd like you to design a new "clock." You have not used Javascript before, so please do not panic; I asking you to use AI to guide your visual ideas; I do not yet need you to fully grasp Javascript.

You will have a few constraints:

    • If you use a typeface, it must be ABC Diatype.
    • You must have a background it must start as the color: #d3d3d3
